Russell Dixon

    Russell Dixon is Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of RedHill Realty Investment Management and its related companies. Dixon has held key positions in national and global companies within the investment and institutional real estate arena. He is one of the foremost leaders nationally in the multifamily business. Mr. Dixon served as Executive Managing Director, Capital Markets of Insignia/ESG, a New York based (NYSE) global real estate investment and services firm. Before that Dixon was Global Co-Head of CB Richard Ellis (CBRE) Institutional Account Group, where he founded and directed the CBRE National Multi Housing team platform executing in excess of $20 billion annually in major property and portfolio transactions. Dixon served as an Investment Committee member of CBRE Investors, its global advisory services arm. Dixon is member of numerous boards and associations including Executive Director, National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC), is a sitting member of the Board of Governors—Institute of Real Estate Operating Companies, a member of Urban Land Institute, and former member of the Harvard Joint Center for Housing Studies commissioned to help leaders in government and civic sectors make decisions that effectively address the housing needs of cities and communities. Mr. Dixon holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism/Business from Brigham Young University, with Graduate studies at Stanford University.

William Ballard

Chief Investment Officer

We utilize extensive and varied research and data sources, our team’s diverse knowledge of and experience in property operations, finance, and capital markets, along with comprehensive and proprietary financial models to identify investment opportunities with the potential to produce the most attractive risk-adjusted returns.

    William Ballard acts in the executive capacity of Chief Investment Officer. He is the senior executive responsible for managing the financial actions of the company with additional responsibility for the investment arm of the company. Prior to his association with RedHill, Ballard helped to establish and manage the financial and accounting divisions of IndCor—Blackstone’s Industrial platform which during his tenure acquired 120MM SF of industrial properties internationally, subsequently selling in excess of $8B. Ballard started his career as a member of the Price Waterhouse Coopers organization and has held executive positions with several prominent full-service real estate firms including CB Richard Ellis Financial Services Group and The Burnham Company, a Cushman & Wakefield predecessor company. Over his 30+ year career, he has been involved in more than $10B in related equity and debt transactions. Ballard graduated magna cum laude from Duke University and holds professional designations including CPA, CFP, and RPA in property administration.

Zach Markell

Chief Operating Officer

We actively monitor the forces that impact the valuation and performance of existing properties and potential acquisitions by constantly interfacing with multifamily brokers, property managers, principals, and equity and debt providers.

    Zach Markell is Chief Operating Officer (COO) of RedHill. He is the senior executive tasked with overseeing the Acquisitions and Portfolio Management functions of the business. Mr. Markell works closely with the Investments Team to identify new opportunities and collaborates with RedHill partners and lenders to execute business plans across our portfolio. Prior to joining RedHill, Markell has nearly a decade of expertise in expanding partnerships and strategic business operations in the sports industry. Markell has a Bachelor of Arts from Georgetown University and a Master of Business Administration from the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business: where he focused on real estate and business analytics. He is an active member of the Berkeley Real Estate Alumni Association (BREAA), Urban Land Institute (ULI), and National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC).

Leticia Astorga

Vice President & Director, Account Management & Human Resources

    Leticia Astorga is Vice President, Account Management and Director of RedHill’s Human Resources (HR). She is a career veteran at RedHill and member of its founding team. Ms. Astorga oversees all account management activity most specifically related to operations, Asset and Property Management functions including full cycle corporate accounting, reconciliation, and forecasting. Ms. Astorga also leads the firm in Human Resource management which includes systems, staffing and in providing proactive leadership on HR initiatives. She is a member of the firms Operations Committees.

Shauna Carson

Senior Vice President & Director, Asset Management

Optimization of revenues, thoughtful expense management, and maximization of net operating income is key to the successful execution of our strategic asset plan.

    Shauna Carson is the Senior Vice President & Director of Asset Management. She collaborates with the property management teams to successfully implement each community’s strategic business plan. Prior to joining the Redhill team, Ms. Carson supervised all facets of rental operations for private and institutional owners. She has operated a portfolio as large as 9,000 multifamily units. Earlier in her career, Ms. Carson managed the mass conversion, renovation and sale of single-family attached homes. She has also overseen financial operations; procured financial and hedging devices for all types of commercial real estate; and coordinated strategic alliances with individual investors, public corporations and private companies. Ms. Carson received her Bachelor of Science in accounting from San Diego State University and her Master of Business Administration in finance from the University of San Diego.

Dominic Cardenas

Vice President & Director, Construction Management

Creating an innovative value-add strategy requires significant planning at numerous levels--then pulling all the resources together to execute the plan requires extraordinary leadership from team members.

    Dominic Cardenas is the Vice President & Director of Construction Management and a key member of RedHill’s Asset Group. He is responsible for overseeing all capital management projects, budgets, contract negotiations, and onsite construction execution for RedHill’s investment properties. Prior to joining the firm, he was a City Planner in North County-San Diego, California, responsible for building and construction related affairs and management from conceptual design through to final inspection. Cardenas is currently a member of the Urban Land Institute and holds a bachelor’s degree from The University of California, Irvine in Urban Studies with an emphasis on Urban and Regional Planning.

Chris Grey

Vice President, Capital Markets Group

    Chris Grey is the Vice President of RedHill's Capital Markets Group. He is responsible for managing all capital raising activities, business development, and investor relations. Previously, Chris worked at Goldman Sachs as an investment banker, where he helped execute over $2 billion of financing for issuers across a range of sectors and products. He was also responsible for managing a portfolio of high net-worth clients at JPMorgan Chase before being promoted to work in their corporate finance division. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from University of Texas at Dallas.

Baylor Brimmer

Vice President, Investments Group

    Baylor Brimmer is a member of the Investments Group. As Vice President, he is responsible for deal sourcing, underwriting, and executing on institutional-grade multifamily communities throughout the Western US. Prior to joining RedHill, Baylor worked as a broker analyst underwriting and facilitating the execution of industrial investments in San Diego. He holds a BBA from The University of San Diego where he graduated Magna Cum laude double majoring in Finance & Real Estate.

Christopher Dixon

Vice President & Associate Director, Capital Group, Asia Pacific

    Chris Dixon is a member of RedHill’s Capital Markets team with specific responsibilities for its Asia Pacific capital raising activities. He was previously a member of the RedHill Acquisition Group with primary involvement in Western U.S. markets. Chris started his career as an entrepreneur in the Wellness sector where he was internationally published and recognized. He was introduced to Asia via the U.S. Peace Corp where he served in 2005, then transitioning to a decade of living in Melbourne, Australia, where he now resides. Dixon is a Graduate of the University of Utah, Salt Lake City, Utah with Graduate studies at Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, RMIT. Amongst other trade organizations, Chris is a member of Urban Land Institute (ULI) International.

Marie Laule

Director, Marketing

    Marie Laule manages strategic development and implementation of RedHill's marketing operations. She plays an active role in brand management, social media management, and digital content creation. Prior to joining the team, she served roles as Digital Marketing Strategist and Social Media Manager. Marie brings expertise from several years of working in Marketing across multiple industries. She is also completing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Marketing at University of San Diego.

Nate Diviney, serves as RedHill’s Vice President of Construction Management and leads the company’s efforts in planning, managing and it’s execution of capital improvements, portfolio wide. Diviney also plays a key role in working closely with RedHill’s acquisition team in comprehensive value-add underwriting and strategy development Prior to joining RedHill, Mr. Diviney spent 8 years with Exxcel Construction Management Co., responsible for construction consulting and management services covering Eastern Canada and the Northeastern United States. In this role he was responsible for all construction operations, including budget and purchasing and supervision of all field operations. Diviney holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Southern Virginia University and holds a MBA from Marshall Graduate Program USC -- University of Southern California.

Mr. Brady, is Director and Principal of RedHill’s Development Business and oversees its’ Construction Management capability as an adjunct of Asset Management. Brian has significant leadership and management experience in the real estate industry. During his 15+ year career he has worked across multiple commercial asset classes including multifamily. Brian Previously held key roles with Locale Advisors, Kilroy Realty Corporation, McCarthy Building Companies, Bocina Homes Corp, and Bocina Development and directly responsible for the entitlement, development, and redevelopment of over 4 million square feet of assets, valued at over $2B. Brian holds a BS from Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations, with a concentration in business. At Cornell, he was also a member of the Varsity Lacrosse Team. Brian is a LEED AP, and active in the San Diego chapter of both the Urban Land Institute and NAIOP.

Alex Pascale is head of RedHill’s Acquisition Group, including deal sourcing, underwriting, and executing on institutional-grade multifamily communities throughout the Western US. Prior to joining RedHill, Alex co-founded a boutique Multifamily syndication firm in the San Francisco Bay Area, where he was actively engaged in acquisitions and private capital raising. Furthermore, Pascale played a critical role in scaling two technology start-ups, both of which are now publicly listed on the NASDAQ. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Santa Clara University where he played Division 1 Rugby for 4 years.

Lawrence Levy

Larry Levy is a partner and a major principal investor in RedHill Realty Investment Group. Mr. Levy is the Founder and Managing Partner of the Levy Family Investment Office. He is a legacy real estate investor nationally including numerous business holdings. Most notably he is Founder and chairman Emeritus of internationally recognized Levy Restaurants a diverse food service business. Mr. Levy is current CEO of Diversified Real Estate Capital and a key RedHill investor shareholder. He is a member of the Board of Northwestern Kellogg Graduate School of Management, where he holds BS and MBA degrees.

Ray Wirta

Ray Wirta is a nationally recognized real estate industry leader. Wirta served as CEO and Chairman of CB Richard Ellis between 1997 and 2014. Additionally, Wirta served as CEO of the Koll company, and most recently as President of The Irvine Company of Newport Beach, California. He currently is a Managing Partner for Beaumont Investment Group. Mr. Wirta holds a B.A. in Economics from California State University, Long Beach and an M.B.A. in international Management from Golden Gate University.

Geoffrey Dohrmann

Geoffrey Dohrmann, is the Founder, President and CEO of Institutional Real Estate Inc (IREI), a California based, international consulting and publishing company focused on the needs of Institutional Investors, Investment Managers, and Investor Operators. Dohrmann is Past Director & Chairman, J.P. Morgan Real Estate Income & Growth Fund, and consults with many leading firms in the real estate investment management industry. He is a graduate of the University of California-Berkeley.

Burland East

Burland East is Founder, Principal, and CEO of American Assets Capital Advisers. Previously, Burl was a senior executive of several Fortune 500 organizations including Kemper Securities and Wachovia Securities. East has served on multiple boards, most notably, East served on the Excel Trust, Inc Board of Directors pre-IPO and prior to acquisition by Blackstone, as well as on the University of Southern California Lusk Center Leadership Council. He currently is a member of Ernst & Young’s Audit Committee Network. East holds an MBA in Finance from Loyola University of Maryland.

Dale Burnett

Dale Burnett is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of BIG Equity Investors (BIG Equity) an affiliate of Basis Investment Group (BIG) a minority and woman owned investment management platform investing in debt and structured equity strategies on behalf of its institutional partners. Burnett is a seasoned real estate investor and manager with significant real estate experience globally. Prior to BIG Equity, Dale led the real estate investment practice of Assurant Life (NYSE: AIZ), was a senior investment principal in AIG’s Global Real Estate Group, and in his early career was an asset management specialist for Blackstone’s Real Estate Group. Mr. Burnett holds a B.S. from Boston University and an MBA from Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business.

Michael McMenomy

Michael McMenomy is an Executive Managing Director of CBRE Global Investment Management and served as Global Head of Investor Services from 2005 through 2019. He is currently responsible for Investor Solutions where he is involved in the development of investment programs for global investors and clients of the firm. During his tenure, McMenomy has led the global capital raising efforts, aggregating more than $100 billion in equity commitments, and has served on the firm’s Executive Committee, Global Investment Committee, and Americas Investment Committee. He is the past Chairman of ULI’s Office Development Council and of the CBRE Investment Management Middle East LTD, Dubai and currently serves on the City of Hope Orange County President’s Advisory Council.
